After more than a year and a half of preparation we have finally completed all our training for PNG! It is absolutely mind blowing to think of what God has done during these past months. He called us to missions and we answered. He lead us to Wycliffe and then carried us through the application process to become members. He miraculously provided for our finances to attend training in Florida! He carried us through to 46% of our monthly support. He miraculously supplied for our training at JAARS. Just listing a few of His amazing provisions gives us chills.

And you saw how the LORD your God cared for you all along the way as you traveled through the wilderness, just as a father cares for his child. Now He has brought you to this place. Deuteronomy 1:31 NLT
This place for our family means a free online charter school through South Carolina for our girls; living with Martys parents as we await the sale of our home; preparing our shipment for PNG; awaiting the approval of our visas; completing our prayer and financial partnership team; and purchasing airfare and other necessities for the next four years in PNG. This place also means that we recently discovered the schooling provided during our training in PNG ends at grade seven. We trust the Lord for whatever He brings but are very uncomfortable with being separated from three of our four daughters for almost four months right after our arrival to PNG. Please pray with us for perfect peace in handling this new challenge and miracles that will bring our partnership team to completion. The sooner we get to PNG the better! We can only try to imagine how God will bring all these last things together. He just keeps going above and beyond all that we can try to fathom. Our next few months will be full of final preparations for PNG. The only thing that stands between us working and living on the other side of the world is the completion of our monthly partnership team and plane tickets. Praise the Lord with us for a perfect home for Tinkerbell and our hearts that are healing from giving her away. Praise the Lord for the completion of our training at JAARS and the new friendships that were formed for each family member. Praise the Lord for a wonderful week of family time with Saras grandparents from Texas. Please pray with us for committed responses to complete our partnership team and bring our regular monthly support to 100%! Please continue to pray for the perfect buyer for our now empty home in York. Please continue praying for Taylor, Tia, Miriam, Jade and Sara as they adjust to a very heavy curriculum load! Please pray with us for the speedy approval of our visas for PNG.
