"BHR PRAYER SANCTUARY" BULIBTIN. Noe 35a
Dear Prayer Partnera,
“wy voice shalt Thou hear in the morning, 0 Lord; in
the morning will I direct ay prayer unto Thee, and will look up!"(Pa.5)
Are wo spending a regular time with our Lori cach morning? Prayer is
a must for every Christian! It should be a joy too! Are you finding
any difficulty in keeping a regular appointuent with the Lord each
day? I suppose one of the most relentless enenies of morning prayer-
time is - LATE NIGHTS! "Zarly to beds early to rise" - here lies the
initial victory! Sleepiness can dull one's "prayer-power". Be wide-
awake before starting! Complete your ablutions first. It might help to
dress completely.
On waking, let your first thought be of Jeaus! Lift your heart to Hin
in a noraing greeting! Remember, He has been waiting and praying for
you all night (Ps 121.3; Hed 7.25). Pause to think - you are about to
Reet the Living Goa! (James 4.8). You are about to enter the Throne
Room!(Heb 10,19-22). Get settled in your prayer-position and spend a
fow minutes realising that He is with you in that very roon! Right
there beside you! His glory fille the place! Angels crow! aroun —
(Zech 3.1-8). Concentrate your thoughts upon the Glorious Person of
the Saviour, Then begin wita adoration before feeding your soul upon
Eis precious Word.
