Aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal/Spoonfu l/E951/Canderel) is in thousands of foods and on every restaurant table for the exact reasons tobacco is everywhere: Greed, addiction and profit. During Aspartame awareness weekend, Sept 5--7, 2008, Mission Possible is encouraging the already “aspartame aware” to pressure restaurants into removing aspartame as a sweetener option available to customers.

Why? While aspartame may be sweet to the taste, it is a potentially deadly neurotoxic, methanol-containing poison and it is bad business for restaurateurs to kill their customers....
