Blogging with Diigo
In addition to all the other great tools for annotating and bookmarking web pages, Diigo has some awesomefeatures for sharing those sites you've discovered. For bloggers, the
Send to Blog
feature is a especially useful.Once you've set up your blog, you can easily create a post from any web page you're visiting.Assuming you've already installed the Diigo toolbar in your browser, here's everything you need to know to getblogging with Diigo.
Create a Post
You're visiting a site with information you'd like to pass along on your blog. If you'd like to quote from the site, selectthe text you'd like included in the quote, right-click and choose the
Highlight
option from the popup menu.If you also want to bookmark this page, choose the
Bookmark and Highlight
command instead of just
Highlight.
 You will need to tag and save your bookmark before proceeding with your blog commands.

Notice that your selected text is now highlighted. From the Diigo toolbar's
Send
dropdown menu, choose the
toBlog
command.

Diigo takes you to the Edit Blog Post page. On the left you'll see any blog sites you've set up in your Diigo account(more on this later). Your highlighted text, along with linked title and site name of your source page, has beenpasted into a simple editor. You can submit your post as is or include any additional information or formattingchanges straight from this editor.Here's the same article once I've made some changes and it's ready to send.
