The committee was given the sad news that Sally is being made redundant fromMarshfields School. Sally has been an excellent supporter of PDDCS and thePlayscheme may now be held at Jack Hunt School. It also means that cookeryand craft clubs could be a problem.

Nicola and the Committee wished Debbie Powell a speedy recovery.

Nicola also confirmed that the Sea Life Centre will be the venue for the tripduring the play scheme.

The youth group helped on the family fun day and made £25 from selling theirgoods.

Sarah Clark from Cambridge emailed to inform the PDDCS of an event to helpyoung deaf people to choose what to do after leaving school. AP will put this onthe website.

A trip to the theatre to watch a signed performance is only open to the youthgroup but can be open out if there are spaces free. The performance is on the24
th
September and the cost will be approximately £35
