Peter Riley Conference, Call for Papers

Published by Gylphi Limited
A one-day conference on the work of Peter Riley, jointly held by Birkbeck College and Royal Holloway on Saturday 14 January 2012.

The conference aims to broaden scholarly research into Riley’s writing, which crosses over many different disciplines and fields of knowledge. We would encourage papers on any aspect of Peter’s work, which might include: responses to individual collections or poems; its relationship to innovative poetic practice; ‘the Cambridge school’; translation; music; his work as an editor, publisher and commentator. We are also keen to hear from people who would like to contribute to an evening reading of Peter’s work.

Papers of 15 to 20 minutes in duration are welcomed. Please send 250 word abstracts and any questions to peterrileyconference@yahoo.co.uk

Deadline for papers: Friday 28 October 2011

Conference proceedings to be published in Contemporary Writers: Critical Essays (Book Series). Series Editor: Sarah Dillon. http://www.gylphi.co.uk/criticalessays/index.php
