Sweltering heat.Howling wind.Sand that ouls every moving part. This is where we perected our frearms.
Including the:92 FS M9 M9A190-TWO92A1
92FS World deFender
Beretta launches the new Model 92A1 and 96A1 pistol in 9mm and 40S&W calibers. This evolution o the world amous 92FS integrates thebest eatures o the 90-Two pistol: increased capacity magazines (THREEincluded per pistol), removable ront sight, accessory rail, captive recoilspring assembly, rounded trigger guard and rame recoil buer. BerettaU.S.A. continues to deliver Model 92FS pistols against the contractawarded by the U.S. Army in 2009.
A. Open Slide Design:
Open top slide virtually eliminates jamming and stove piping.Allows the user to load and chamber one cartridge at a time should the magazine be lostor damaged.
B. Disassembly Latch:
Simplies eld stripping or maintenance by allowing quick andeasy disassembly. Stays on the gun, preventing accidental dropping and loss.
C. Visible Automatic Firing Pin Block:
The ront part o the ring pin is blocked romany orward movement until the trigger is pulled completely back. The block is locatedrearward, ar away rom the ouling and debris o the breech ace. Since the block isvisible, the user may ascertain its proper operation at any time. Even i the pistol allsand strikes the ground muzzle down, the ring pin will not strike the primer.
D. Rear Sight Profle:
The rear sight is designed to provide a ront projection so that in anemergency, the user may retract the slide single-handedly by pushing the rear sight against the edge o a table, door, etc.
E. External Hammer Design:
A traditional eature o Beretta pistols, this design provides the energy to the ring pin, virtually eliminating the possibility o misres due to lightprimer. Also provides an immediate visual and tactile indicator as to the cocked/uncockedstatus o the pistol.
F. No Glare Finish:
Beretta’s exclusive Bruniton
non-refective black coating is asuperior corrosion and wear resistant nish.
G. Light Aluminum Frame:
Each pistol eatures a lightweight, orged rame made romextremely strong aircrat-quality aluminum alloy.
H. Reversible Magazine Release:
Positioned next to the trigger guard or either right or let-handed shooters, allowing rapid reloading. Magazine drops clear when released.
I. Unique Ultra Sae Design:
The ambidextrous saety lever, easily accessible by the thumb o a right or let handed shooter, is spring loaded so it’s either positively “on” or “o”. The saety lever also unctions as the pistol’s decocking lever. When pushed down, the rear part o the ring pin (striker) is rotated out o alignment with the ront part o  the ring pin. Additional hammer drop catch (hal-cock notch prevents striking o thering pin unit) in the remote chance o unintentional hammer drop.
 J. Sure, Firm Grip:
The ront and back o the grip are grooved on the 92FS and M9,while the M9A1 and 90-Two eature checkering. The grip rame is fared slightly at the base to enhance pointability and control.
K. High-Capacity Magazines:
The 92 amily magazines are interchangeable within caliber, and range in capacity rom 10 to 20 rounds in 9mm.
L. Chamber-loaded Indicator:
When a round is chambered, the extractor protrudesslightly to show a red indicator. In the dark, the user can eel the protruding extractor.
Common FeatureS
The 92 series o semiautomatic pistols operates on a short recoil, delayedblowback system, which yields; aster cycle times, exceptional accuracy andgreater reliability. Double/Single action provides a very sae and time-proven design. High-capacity steel magazines are durable and drop-reewhen the magazine button is depressed, even when empty. Chrome-linedbarrels provide extreme corrosion resistance, as well as ease o cleaning.Barrels also eature a deeply recessed combat muzzle crown to protect the rifing.
