TAKE NOTICE that the Applicant applies in accordance with Section 316(8) of the Criminal Procedure Act for appeal against the conviction and sentences imposed by the Trial Court and confirmed by the Honourable Mr Justice Msineki and the Honourable Mr Justice Van der Byl in the Gauteng North High Court under case number A112/2008.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the relief and order sought on the appeal is the following:

That the Applicant be given leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal against the conviction and sentence in the abovementioned case;

Affording the Applicant such or other alternative relief as His Lordship, the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal, may deem meet.
