Mystery Celebrity Judges Prize: $30 Kutztown Community Gift Card
Rules: Pie must be homemade, baked from scratch (no pre-mixes, pre-made crusts, canned fillings, commercial mixes, puddings, etc) No pies that need refrigeration Each contestant may enter one pie. Bring the pie on Sept 29 between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM. Judging begins at 5:30 PM. All pies must be submitted with a recipe. It is fine to handwrite it on an index card. Recipes become property of the Kutztown Main Street Growers Market and can be used as deemed appropriate by the market for promotional purposes. Credit will be given to the contestant without compensation. Judges will score on the appearance of the pie, taste, crust, originality and overall impression. In case of a tie, judges will judge the tied pies again. Judges decisions are final. All pies become property of the Kutztown Main Street Growers Market upon entry.
