No, you do not have to be a resident of DC or have an affiliation to attend the Conference.

How much does it cost to attend the Conference?
Nothing. The Conference is free.
Pre-registration is required
. There will be no on-site registration.

Is there group registration?
Yes, for youth participants. Group Leaders or Counselors should submit all of the following together atone time: Group Application Form (one for the entire group) and a Group Registration: Youth Participantand Waiver (submit both forms for each youth participant).
Parents/Guardians must sign each youthparticipant’s Group Registration: Youth Participant form and the Waiver in order to authorize theyouth’s participation in the Conference.
Group Registration is not available for the Parents/GuardiansWorkshop.

Who may participate in the Essay Contest?
All youth participants of the Conference are encouraged to participate in the essay contest.

What time does registration/check-in begin and end?
Registration is from 7:30am to 8:15am.
9.
 
What is the dress code for the conference?
Conference Attire: Jeans, pants, skirts, dresses, flat shoes or tennis shoes are acceptable. No baremidriffs, no mini-skirts or shorts, no revealing or tight-fitting clothing, no hats, headscarves or caps are tobe worn in the building (unless as required by religious beliefs), and no t-shirts with derogatory oroffensive language, gestures or references.
