1 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, called as an apostle of Jesus Christ bythe will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but topreach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that thecross of Christ would not be made void.1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, tothose who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints bycalling, with all who in every place call on the name of our LordJesus Christ, their Lord and ours:1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness tothose who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is thepower of God.1 Corinthians 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Fatherand the Lord Jesus Christ.1 Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, "I WILL DESTROY THEWISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THECLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE."1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always concerning you for thegrace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise man? Where is thescribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God madefoolish the wisdom of the world?

1 Corinthians 1:5-6 that in everything you were enriched inHim, in all speech and all knowledge, (6) even as thetestimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you,1 Corinthians 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the worldthrough its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached tosave those who believe.1 Corinthians 1:7-8 so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, (8)who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of ourLord Jesus Christ.1 Corinthians 1:22-23 For indeed Jews ask for signs andGreeks search for wisdom; (23) but we preach Christ crucified,to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were calledinto fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.1 Corinthians 1:24 but to those who are the called, both Jewsand Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name ofour Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be nodivisions among you, but that you be made complete in thesame mind and in the same judgment.1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiserthan men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1 Corinthians 1:11 For I have been informed concerning you,my brethren, by Chloe's people, that there are quarrels amongyou.1 Corinthians 1:26 For consider your calling, brethren, thatthere were not many wise according to the flesh, not manymighty, not many noble;1 Corinthians 1:12 Now I mean this, that each one of you issaying, "I am of Paul," and "I of Apollos," and "I of Cephas," and"I of Christ."1 Corinthians 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of theworld to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak thingsof the world to shame the things which are strong,1 Corinthians 1:13 Has Christ been divided? Paul was notcrucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name ofPaul?1 Corinthians 1:28-29 and the base things of the world and thedespised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that Hemay nullify the things that are, (29) so that no man may boastbefore God.1 Corinthians 1:14-15 I thank God that I baptized none of youexcept Crispus and Gaius, (15) so that no one would say youwere baptized in my name.1 Corinthians 1:30-31 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness andsanctification, and redemption, (31) so that, just as it is written,"LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."
