Morning Prayer Ritual

This prayer is to be done at sunrise or as soon as you wake. It is best performed
outside but not necessary.
Supplies:
Prayer Candle (white pillar or jar candle that has been blessed and consecrated
for the sole purpose of prayers)
Prayer Incense ( one of the following scents, Lilac, Rose, Frankincense or
Jasmine, personally I prefer Jasmine as it gives off a more mystical feeling.)
CD of soothing music or nature sounds (I prefer the sound of ocean waves)
Offering dish and offering (a bit of oats)
Candle snuffer

Procedure:
Sit in a quiet place and clear your mind. When you are ready turn on the CD and
light the incense. Next light the candle, after the candle has been lit recite the
following prayer:
Blessed be my feet witch walk the path of the lord and lady
Blessed be my knees that kneel at the sacred altar
Blessed be my eyes so that they may see the wisdom of the sprit
Blessed be my lips so that they may speak the truth
Blessed be my heart that beats the drum of compassion
May the love of the lord and lady be within and around me as I begin my journey
though life this day so mote it be

When you are done go outside (if you are inside) and dig a small hole then say: I
thank thee oh Lord and Lady for hearing my prayers and I offer you this libation
as a token of my devotion. Now bury the offering and say: Mother Earth I return
to you that which has come from you, Blessings to you oh great mother. Go back
inside and snuff out your prayer candle and continue your day as planned
