Srednja kola Valpovo from Croatia hosted the seventh meeting of the project We are surrounded by water, but there is no drop to drink, approved by the Croatian National Agency as a part of the Comenius Life Learnig Programme. We were visited by 45 partners (out of who 16 were students) from ten European countries: France, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and United Kingdom. The partners arrived on Sunday, 18 September, and left on Friday, 23 September. On Monday, 19 September, the partners went to the school gym, where there were musical and dance performances of our students, as well as the performances of the local folk dancers and majorettes. After the performances the partners had lunch, and in the late afternoon the project workshop was held at the hotel's conference room. Prior to the meeting in Croatia, the students had been asked to express their creativity by making a video, painting or drawing, and the workshop once again showed that we had talented young artists all over Europe. After dinner, the partners were given another surprise the school band playing rock music, so there was dancing and singing until late in the evening. On Tuesday morning, 20 September, the partners visited the water plant in Belie, where they were explained how the river Drava was processed into drinking water, and after that they were taken to Zagreb, where they had lunch and did some sightseeing. They arrived at the Plitvice Lakes hotel late in the evening. The Plitvice Lakes sightseeing tour was planned for Wednesday, 21 September, and everything went according to the plan. On our way back to Valpovo we had a coffee break in Rastoke and came back to the hotel around midnight.

The Nature Park Kopaki rit was visited on Thursday morning, 22 September, and after lunch in Tikve the partners were guests at the nearby organic farm, where they could taste organic products, such as juice, jam and sausages. The partners were also given the opportunity to look around the farm and buy some organic products as well. In the late afternoon they visited the Thermal Spa in Bizovac. After dinner at the hotel in Valpovo, all the partners were given presents, and the final present of the meeting was the folk dance performance, which they enjoyed very much. The partners left Valpovo on Friday morning, 23 September, and we miss them already very much.
