The Eastern India Philatelists’ Association has just com-
pleted 10 years of its foundation. It has started with four
members at the beginning and now becoming the big-
gest philatelic organisation in Orissa having more than
100 members including 90 life members from Orissa,
Kolkata, Shimla, Bihar, Gwalior, etc. It has rendered valu-
able assistance to the Department of Posts in organising
several state and district level Exhibitions in Orissa and
one National level exhibition during 2000 in the name of
Millepex-2000. Besides the members of EIPA has also
contributed significantly in organising several state and
district level philatelic workshops, quiz competitions,
stamp design contests, seminars, etc. as a part of promo-
tion of philately in Orissa even in adverse climatic condi-

India Philatelists’ Association. The exhibition will

bers of EIPA and other senior philatelists having
