NWCCOG 2011 Benchmark Report
The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) is pleased to present the 2011Benchmark Report. NWCCOG is a voluntary association of county and municipal governmentsin northwest Colorado that believes that working together on a regional basis provides bene
tsthat could not be obtained alone. NWCCOG’s core region is the
ve counties that make up StatePlanning and Management Region 12: Eagle, Grand, Jackson, Pitkin and Summit. NWCCOG’smembership is open to counties and municipalities beyond that boundary, and thus the City of Steamboat Springs (in Routt County) as well as the City of Glenwood Springs and Town of Car
bondale (in Gar
eld County) are members as they believe there is great bene
t due to their simi
lar interests to Region 12 towns and counties. Therefore, this report includes all seven coun
ties—the
ve Region 12 counties, as well as the 2 contiguous counties that house the non
Region 12 municipalities—in order to include all NWCCOG member jurisdictions.NWCCOG’s Region:The purpose of this report is to provide current, objective data on several indicators which com
