thiswasimpossible,since Gardasildid not
contain

mother
was confused astohow a
15

and
asked
them
how thiscouldbe.
S.A

procured
some vaccinein June

,
and
contracted
Dr

examine
thesamples
and
seewhathis HiFiDNA technology
might
find.Much toeveryone's surprise,HPV DNAwasfound for the
HPV
types
11,
and
18.
When
submittedto GenBank, bothsequenceswerefound to match MerckLicencedgenetically engineered

then procured
13
samples
of
Gardasilvaccine withdifferent lot
numbers on
the worldwide
market
in USA, France,Spain,Poland,Australia
and
New Zealand.
Dr
Lee'slaboratory found all the vaccines to con
tain HPV
DNA
of
one,
or
both,

and
18
HPV
types. However, there are problems with thisfinding.First, there
is
no published
method
available for the detection
and
genotyping
of
HPV
DNA in protein-basedvaccines. Second,
Dr
Lee's HiFiDNAtechnology
is
streets ahead
ofthat
usedbyeitherFDA, or Merck itself. Thereforeto find a "peer reviewer" to
examine
how"good"the technology is, will prove achallenge.HiFiDNA technology
is
the result
of
acollaboration between
Dr
Sin

Lee
and
Professor GF

,who spent

Hong
was apioneerin DNAsequencinginSanger'sUK based team,
butreturned

wherehealsouses HiFiDNA methodology.
Dr
Lee's attemptsto have HiFiDNA technology licensed for appropriate use inthe UnitedStateshave been thwartedat everyturn', andsincethat time, regular conferenceshave been held
on
the topic.Two years ago,when two
German
microbiology professors (Professor
Dr

Professor

Dr

that
they had reviewed the world
