    I quite like these names the best: Hero = Ralo Sidekick = Tyasty Villain = Arani

    Mutations
    I have had a thought about the mutations and looked at what Justin said so I will and try and make it clearer:

    Hero
    I was thinking of a mammal like mutation such as beast but maybe designed a bit stronger to appear more warrior like so maybe incorporate lion, bull or wolf features. As for powers, the hero could have elemental powers to make it more magical but I was thinking why not have the opposite to the villains power so able to produce strong beams of light that hurts or irritates his enemies.

    Sidekick
    I was wasnt sure whether to have a power for the sidekick but I felt maybe something developed that was famous for the characters personality such as sound waves might add the humorous irony. The mutation I was thinking something related to sound so bat like or maybe resembling something annoying so crow or seagull, something with a striking/ piercing noise that grates or irritates. I also thinking of showing a clear change to posture so the spine bends to make the character hunched to create a visual reference to a slave and a being that appears weak and pathetic but also having a resemblance to the Morlocks in the Time Machine so a more evolved look of mutation.

    Villain
    Obviously I mentioned her powers of conjuring dark/ shadow blasts and form swords from her hands and I still like this idea because she would be wearing metal gauntlets and the forming of swords reveal more of the pointy triangle shape. However thought more about the obviousness and wondered if her whole body is warped, maybe have multiple limbs. The carnival mask could hide what is truly hideous about the character and not revealed until a few episodes in as reason why she is playing the

    outsider and what secrets she has to hide. Also Im considering making the villain more organic, maybe consider twists and turns in the anatomy like a plant and as mentioned in previous research I like the idea of the mouth splitting apart and opening an unnatural way but wasnt sure if this was relevant for a childs cartoon. Another idea was to resemble her as a creature of fear such as a spider or a snake to show the grotesque but also the presence of power like the creatures of Greek Mythology.
