Noah Builds the Ark

Todays Key Point: God wants us to obey. Memory Verse Peter and the other apostles replied: We must obey God rather than men!-Acts 5:29

A Step Further - Take some time today to review what your kids learned in TrinityLand.
1. What did you talk about in TrinityLand today? God told Noah to build an ark and Noah obeyed God. (Genesis 5:29) 2. Why would have it been hard for Noah to obey God? He was the only righteous man on earth. 3. Talk about why its sometimes hard to obey God. A lot of times we put what we want ahead of what God wants.

Family Time - As a family have a meal together, open your Bible, and have a family devotional
based off of todays TrintyLand lesson. 1. This week, take time to read Acts 5:17-32. 2. The disciples were told not to do something. What was it and why did they disobey? They were told to not preach or talk about Jesus. They disobeyed because Jesus told them to tell everyone about Him. (Matthew 28:16-20) 3. Talk about some rules that God has for us and why He has them. Remember, Jesus came to give life and give it abundantly. (John 10:10) This means that the rules God gives us are for our joy and to give us life abundantly.

Pray - Take some time as a family to pray.

Dear God, Thank You so much for the rules you give us. We dont always like them or follow them, but we know that you gave them to us because you love us. Help us to follow You and your rules, and thank You that You love us, even when we dont follow all the rules. In Jesus name, Amen.
