Network Scenarios and Carrier Grade
Solutions with SUA
TECHNICAL NOTE
\u00a92003 Hughes Software Systems Ltd.

This note provides an overview of different
architectures for the use of SUA protocol
in VoIP, 3G and converged networks. It also
describes how to use SUA to achieve carrier
grade solutions for high availability and message
distribution. This information is intended to help
network designers and customers to build
products for 3G/VoIP networks. It would also
give an idea of what to do to have more visibility
in a converged network. The broad scenarios
covered are:

I Only IP network
I Interface between IP nodes and SS7 network.
I Simultaneously interfacing with SS7 network
and other IP nodes
