Objectives:

Students will:Graph classmates favorite animal using the student graph.Count how many students each farm animal was their favorite.Graph their favorite farm animal using a class spreadsheet on the computer.Identify which farmyard animal had the greatest number of students favorite it and whichhad the least.Students will tally the number of students indicated that each animal was their favorite.

Relative Advantage:

Students will be using a graph in both hard copy form and in aspreadsheet form as the introduction to this lesson. The spreadsheet allows students avisual for how many students in the class like each farm animal as wall as how a graphchanges as the numbers on the graph change.
