Paid app downloads decreased by 1% on Android and by 5% iOS. On Android, thedecreases were concentrated at price points below $3.00. On iOS, the drop wasconcentrated at the two lowest price points. The $.99 price point decreased from 12.3% to9.3% and the $1.99 price point decreased from 4.2% to 3.0%.

On Android, Utilities had a huge month; their share of downloads increased from 15.8% to21.3%. On iOS, games increased their share from 27.7% to 31.5%. Social networking andreference also increased their shares by 2%, while sports, healthcare & ﬁtness, and booksapps decreased their share by 1%.
