HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN IBU HAMIL TERHADAP PEMILIHAN PENOLONG PERSALINAN DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT PUSKESMAS KECAMATAN UTAN1

Ayu Febriana2, Fathi, SKM., M.Kes3, Heny Sudarti, S.ST INTISARI Persalinan di kabupaten Sumbawa yang belum secara totalitas ditolong oleh tenaga kesehatan sangat mempengaruhi tingginya angka kematian ibu (AKI). Jumlah persalinan di kabupaten Sumbawa pada tahun 2009 adalah sebanyak 11.295 orang dan yang ditolong tenaga kesehatan adalah sebanyak 6731 (59,6%) sementara persalinan yang tidak ditolong tenaga kesehatan adalah sebanyak 4564 (40,41%). Pada tahun 2010 jumlah persalinan di Kabupaten Sumbawa adalah sebanyak 10.414 dan yang ditolong tenaga kesehatan adalah sebanyak 8447 (81,11%) sementara persalinan yang tidak ditolong tenaga kesehatan adalah sebanyak 1967 (18,89%). Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan Ibu Hamil Terhadap Pemilihan Penolong Persalinan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Utan. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Observasional Analitik dengan rancangan Cross sectional. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah semua ibu hamil yang berada di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Kecamatan Utan yang berjumlah 480 orang, dengan sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang berjumlah 44 orang. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Accidental Sampling. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu variabel Independent (Tingkat Pendidikan) dan Variabel Dependent (Pemilihan Penolong Persalinan) dan menggunakan uji statistik spearman. Sebagian besar responden dengan kategori tingkat pendidikan rendah dan memilih persalinan di tolong oleh tenaga kesehatan yaitu sebanyak 21(47,7%) dan kategori terendah adalah tingkat pendidikan tinggi dan pendidikan menengah pemilihan penolong persalinan oleh tenaga non kesehatan yaitu sebesar 0(0%). Hasil pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara Tingkat Pendidikan Terhadap Pemilihan Penolong Persalinan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji corelation spearman dengan hasil yang diperoleh adalah nilai sign ( 2 tailed) sebesar 0,179 (p value=0,179. The amount of the childbirth in sub-province of Sumbawa in the year 2009 were 11.295 people which are helped by health worker as much as 6731 (59,6%) whereas the childbirth which are not helped by health worker as much as 4564 (40,41%). The purpose of this research is to know "The Relation of Education Level of Pregnant Mother toward Childbirth Helper Selection in work area of Public Centre Health (Puskesmas) Utan. The type of the research used Analytic Observational with Cross sectional plan. The populations used in this research are all pregnant mothers which are stayed in work area of UPT Public Centre Health (Puskesmas) District of Utan amounting to 480 people, with qualifying sample of inclusion amounting to 44 people. The technique of taking sample used Accidental Sampling. Variable researched are variable of Independent (Level Education) and Variable Dependent (selection of childbirth helper) and it used statistical test of spearman. Most of respondent with low education level category and chosen childbirth in helping by health worker as much as 21 (47,7%) and the lowest category is the pregnant mothers with high education level and middle education chosen the childbirth helper of non health worker as much as 0 (0%). The result of this research can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between the Level of Education toward the selection of childbirth helper. It can be seen from the result of statistical test by using test of spearman correlation by obtained result is value of sign (2 tailed) amount to 0,179 (p value=0,179.
