Step 1:
1. Teacher paste the picturs of items with price tags. 2. Teacher write the number of price in vertical form. 3. Teacher stress that the decimal points must be placed in a straight line. 4. Add from right to left, starting from the hundredths sen.

1. Set up a make-belief store in the class, using cutouts of colourful appliances, toys, groceries, etc. Display items together with price tags. Have different stations selling a variety of goods, for example sundry goods, clothing, etc. 2. Give pupils different tasks, money changer, cashier, shoppers, retailers. 3. Allow pupils to shop using toy or specimen money. 4. Pupils list the items bought, do the addition and have it checked at the cashiers counter.
5. Pupils need to be briefed on the rules for example a minimum of how many items must be bought how much money is allocated to each pupils,etc. 6. Enter all amounts onto place value chart. Then add

1.Teacher paste some question of flash cards on the blackboard. 2.Divide pupils into group A and Group B. 3.Group A will find the answer in blackboard and group B will check the answer. 4.Lastly teacher discuss the correct answer in the class.
