1. How is college different from high school? (Cual es la diferencia entre la universidad el colegio?

) College is different because you have to be more responsible. You can choose if you go or not to classes. In college you dont use uniform you can wear whatever you like. In my case high school was only for girls and college is for both boys and girls. I had to learn to get along with everybody.

2. Have computers improved our lives? (las computadoras han mejorado nuestras vidas?) Yes they have. They help doing things faster and easier. Computers are used almost for everything since children having fun playing computers games to professionals doing their jobs. In my case Im going to be a lawyer. I have to write a lot of documents, computers safes me much time.

3. What motivates you to study? ( Que te motiva a estudiar?) The main reason is that I want to be a professional. I like my career. My parents expect me to be a good professional and I dont want to let them down. I have a little brother and I have to be a good example for him.

4. In your opinion, what qualities are important in a friend? (En tu opinin, que cualidades osn importantes en un amigo?) I think a friend have to stay by your side. Its a person you can count on. A friend is a good listener, who cares about you. It also has to be someone who knows you, who knows what you like and dislike, with whom you feel cozy.

5. Should rich people help poor people? (La gente rica deberia ayudar a la gente pobre?) Yes, they should. Rich people have enough money to help charities, this one way to be gratefully for what they have. Their help doesnt have to be only giving money; they also have to create job opportunities.

6. Who was your favorite teacher in high school, and why? (Quien fue tu profesos favorito en el colegio y porque?) My favorite teacher was Miss Sandra. I cant forget her advices. She always talked about how we had to behave with boys, the importance of the family. She told us about her experiences in a funny way.

I would like to have a handcraft room, and teaches how to make art project. I would like to developed new craft techniques, and then thought them too. (I really like doing handcraft but now because of my career I dont have enough time.)

8. In what ways are your similar to, or different from, your parents? (De que manera eres similar o diferente de tus padres) Physically I look like both, I have eyes and nose from my dad. Emotionally I look like my mom because we both are very emotional. That's the difference with my dad, he has bad character.

Fsicamente me parezco a los dos, tengo los ojos y nariz de mi papa. Emocionalmente me parezco a mi mama porque ambas somos muy sentimentales, esa es la diferencia con mi papa, l tiene mal carcter.

9. Is it important to look good? Why or why not? ( Es importante verse bien? Porque? Por que no?) I think the most important is feeling good with yourself. Each one must choose how they want to look. Although in some cases looking good is very important for certain jobs, such as working in customer service.
Yo pienso que lo ms importante es sentirse bien con uno mismo. Cada persona debe elegir como se quiere ver. Aunque en algunos casos el verse bien es muy importante para ciertos trabajos, por ejemplo los que trabajan en atencin al pblico.

10. Is religion a good thing or a bad thing? (Es la religion algo bueno o algo malo) It's a good thing. Everyone should have a religious belief because it is the best way to have a spiritual control. So we can live well with values and build a better society.
Es algo bueno. Todos deberamos tener una creencia religiosa porque es la mejor manera de tener un control espiritual y asi vivir con valores para tener una sociedad mejor.

11. What makes a happy marriage? (Que hace feliz un matrimonio?) The most important thing to get a happy marriage is love. Love makes the relationship easier but its also important respect, trust, patience, dialogue, collaboration. Bills and home chores must be share.
Lo ms importante Para conseguir un matrimonio feliz es el amor. El amor hace la relacin ms sencilla pero tambin es importante el respeto, la confianza, comprensin, paciencia, dialogo, colaboracin. Las cuentas y las tareas domesticas deben ser compartidas.

12. Which was the happiest moment in your life? (Cul ha sido el momento ms feliz de tu vida?) One of the happiest moments of my life was when I got into the college. I was very happy because I studied very hard for that purpose, and I got into college before finishing school.
Unos de los momentos ms felices de mi vida, fue cuando ingrese a la universidad. Estaba muy feliz porque estudie muy duro para conseguirlo. Entre a la universidad antes de terminar el colegio.

13. Who is the person you admire most? (Quien es la persona a la que mas admiras?) If I have to admire someone, they would be my parents. My dad because he has always been a strong person who has worked hard for us. And my mom because she is very loving and always will be there to support me.
Si tengo que admirar a alguien seria a mis padres. A mi papa porque siempre ha sido una persona fuerte que ha trabajado mucho por nosotros. Y mi mam porque es muy amorosa y siempre estar para apoyarme.

14. Describe a city you have visited and impressed you so much. (Describe una ciudad que hayas visitado y que te haya impresionado

I traveled to Iquitos and I liked it a lot. The city is smaller than Arequipa, its surrounded by plants, trees and many rivers. People are transported by motorbikes, is very rare to seen cars. The weather it's very hot .
Yo viaje a Iquitos y me gusto mucho. La ciudad es mucho ms pequea que Arequipa, est rodeada de vegetacin y distintos ros. Las personas se transportan en motos, es muy raro ver autos. Hace mucho calor.

15. What is your greatest wish? (Cul es tu ms grande deseo) At this point what I want most is to be a lawyer and start working on my career. For that I need to pass my proficiency English test, so I coud get my bachelor deegre and start doing my thesis.
En este momento lo que ms deseo es ser abogada y empezar a trabajar en mi carrera. Para eso necesito aprobar mi examen de suficiencia en Ingles para poder bachillerarme y empezar a hacer mi tesis.

16. Describe a traditional dish in your city. (Describe un plato tradicional de tu ciudad) The Rocoto Relleno. The main ingredient is the hot pepper, the seeds are removed, is has to be cleaned very well to reduce the spicy flavor. Then they have to be boiled and stuffed with a meat. Then put in the oven with cheese on top. Finally serve with potatoes.
El Rocoto relleno. El ingrediente principal es el rocoto, se le sacan las semillas para limpiarlo bien y no pique mucho. Luego se hace hervir y se rellena con un guiso de carne. Se pone al horno con queso encima. Se sirve acompaado de papa.

17. How do you usually choose a gift for your friends? (Como escoges usualmente un regalo para un amigo) The first thing I do is think about my friend, analyze which are his tastes and how is his personality. So discover which is the perfect gift and then I will choose the best option.
Lo primero que debo hacer es pensar en mi amigo, analizar cules son sus gustos y cul es su personalidad. As descubrir cual es el regalo perfecto y elegir la mejor opcin.
