The colour scheme is quite simple and bland as the back and the front contrast well with

the black and white used. The centre image on the front cover features promently as its the first thing you see. Then you see the Foo Fighters bold text this makes it stand I also think that the positioning is spot on and in the right place as we tend to read from the left across, having it on the other side I think would just look odd. There is an abstract element that is used aswell as the object on the front is a torpedo that has a guitar amplifier in its core. The graphic designer of the cover was by Invisible creature which compromises brothers Ryan and Don Clark, they have also designed covers for other well known artists. The back case is very plain with only the list of track names being the only prominent part of it. If I was to take an element of this back cover I would try and list the tracks as they are, however one thing I would not do is position the barcode where it is in the top right corner. I also would not make it this plain as I would not be as interesting to look at as consumer, it is linked to the main image though as that could the result of the torpedo exploding.

The inside cover is also bizarre as they it features black umbrella on the left and what could only be described as an open book with a power drill underneath it. This just illustrates how random album artwork as Im struggling to find a real link between the tracks and the artwork. One continuation

from the front of the digipak though is the colours are the same on the back as they are on the front, this creates consistency throughout the digipak .

The open book is what is covering the upper half of the CD which is meant to be a Jet engine. Flight and the wind seem to be a recurrent theme in this digipak which even follow through to the CD. The same type font is used for the Band and album name that is used on the front is also displayed here.
