BUZZWORDS'

Language Point every day or everyday?

Every is an adjective. Every + singular noun (two words!)

Every weekend is great. Every summer we go to Florida. I go skiing every winter. We have a spelling test every Monday. \

Everyday (one word) is an adjective = usual, not different

e.g. everyday English = the English you usually use everyday clothes = not party clothes an everyday happening = it happens every day
