Be careful of recipes. I was looking for only one specific recipe and found it had a glaring error: Fried Apple Pies; From error: "Put 1/4 cup of the apple mixture in the center of each round," change to: "put 1 teaspoon of the apple mixture in the center of each round." I haven't looked at the other recipes for errors. I am also dubious of the "mix together the shortening, egg, and 3/4 cup of milk" since shortening is usually solid shortening like Crisco and it just doesn't mix well with egg and milk unless they are referring to a liquid shortening which was not specified. Be careful of alleged free recipes.
