1. THEY DON’T TAKE THE BUSINESS SERIOUSLY.

Examples:

 Some people will look down on the QuestNet business simply because it is related to the
network marketing industry.
 Many networkers have given the industry a bad name when they tried and failed. But the
failure of some is not the failure of the entire industry. Many many people have achieved
phenomenal success!
 People think that to qualify as a “real business,” large capital is required and a huge
amount of pre-opening efforts is necessary.

This is definitely NOT so.

Let’s imagine that you are planning to start a traditional business ….

If you are SERIOUS about your business, much preparation will have taken place before the
actual opening. You may have had to make a feasibility study, undergo training, even go back to
school for a few semesters … or to take out a bank loan, find and hire the right people, or choose
a good location, and so on….

No business is guaranteed to make money, yet most traditional businessmen will go through all
this trouble, and the high financial risks involved, to help ensure that their particular business will
succeed!

2. THEY DOUBT.

Doubt is “double-mindedness” as opposed to belief, which is called “single-mindedness.”

Double-mindedness leads to confusion, which can compound your doubt that this business really
can be successful for you. Single-mindedness, on the other hand, leads to clarity of thinking
which strengthens your belief in this business.

We will show you, through the Basic Training Course, how to develop single-mindedness of
purpose so that your belief in this business remains rock-steady.

Perhaps the first time you heard the QuestNet presentation, you believe that you could do this
business and it could work for you. However, as soon as you talked about it to others and they
asked you many things that you did not know the answers to, then you started to doubt whether

This stage is where you are creating a foundation to build your business. It is the period when
you are getting your initial training, gathering knowledge, and establishing a game plan for your
own business. During this stage, you should design the blueprint from which your budding
organization will be built.

The Concentration Stage:

This is where you get the ball rolling with six months to one year of concentrated effort. During
this stage, you attend multiple training sessions and BOMS and perform numerous one-on-ones,
establish your own V-Cells and gain leadership skills. At this point, there may seem to be little
visible results.

The Momentum Stage:

This stage revolves around rapid leadership both for yourself and the leaders you are nurturing
within your group. Finally, you will begin to see tangible results. This stage usually lasts from 2 to
5 years depending on the amount of intensity you show in developing his or her organization.

The Stability Stage:

If you make it this far through your focused, consistent efforts, this stage is when the maximum
rewards are found. You will have reached a state of financial freedom where your lifestyle can be
second to none. You will have established leaders in place and your organization will have a life
of its own, growing and producing income! Always do your best. What you plant now, you will
harvest later.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping:

There is a universal principle, which states that we reap the results of what we have sown. If we
have sown the seeds of hardwork, success and abundance, then eventually we will reap the life
of successful achievement that we are striving to attain.

5. THEY HAVE NO FOCUS.

Focus is being fixed on something that needs to be done. No amount of obstacles will lead to
distraction from achieving the desired result.

Focus, persistence and consistency go hand in hand toward success.

Just imagine that you saw someone throw a diamond worth one million dollars in a large field,
and you were given the chance to retrieve it for yourself.

Learn to say “NO” to those activities, which interfere with your long-range objectives.

Study the art of time-management and prioritize your life.


Focus on prioritizing your life by following Pareto’s Law, also known as the 80-20 Principle.

Pareto’s Law states that 80% of results come from 20% of the actions involved. This can be
interpreted to mean that only 20% of the tasks, which you choose to spend your time on, will
produce 80% of the results you seek.

6. THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO PRESENT THE BUSINESS EFFECTIVELY.

The ability to effectively present the QuestNet business opportunity is one of the primary keys to
accomplishments and success.

The chances of people joining your organization depends on how good (or bad) your business
presentation skills are.

Imagine how many opportunities you will lose if you are dependent on others to present for you.

expert at presenting this business to others. Knowing what to say and knowing what NOT to say
are vital aspects of making an effective presentation.

7. THEY HAVE NO VISION.

Without vision, people perish!

Vision is something about yourself, others and your environment that you can see clearly in your
mind happening in the future. It is a state of being and not of becoming. It is a finished product
and not something that’s still in the process of making.

All success starts with a vision.

Success is a choice. Having a vision gives you inspiration, which can lead you on to great
achievement.

Your vision is your leader, your motivator, and the power that keep enthusiastic about your
business.

Before you start to teach and support the people in your organization, you must make sure that
they have a VISION for the business that is as powerful and passionate as yours.

A vision will do the following:

 Determines your direction.


 Induce internal motivation.
 Help you to overcome obstacles.
 Determine your work ethic.

The following exercise is a process that needs to be completed to give new TCOs an
understanding of their vision.

As a new TCO, you must know what your reasons are for doing the QuestNet business. What
are your “burning desires” that will light fires of inspiration to keep you on developing your
business.

Decide on these compelling reasons for you, being a TCO, to do the QuestNet business.

Examples:

 To be in a position to be able to help others financially.


 To be able to resign from my present job.
 To earn a large residual income.

Anchor your vision to VALUES.

Values give a person’s life solid foundations. It can be said that the achievement of true success
is firmly anchored to enduring values. Those who seek a successful life must have a clear idea of
what values are most important to him or her.

They must then decide to live by these values no matter how smooth or rough their journey
through life. These values will direct the TCO on the right course and will define what kind of a
person they ultimately become.

Make vision for building a tremendous QuestNet organization so strong and so magnificent that
the facts of the company pale into significance in comparison with your dream. When you have
the kind of vision that can motivate people into life-changing action, then you will have a business
that grows and prospers.

8. THEY HAVE NO CLEARLY DEFINED GOALS.

Goals are definite, tangible results that you want to achieve at a specific point in the future.

Goals are the road maps that guide you along your journey of life and show you what is
attainable. They are dreams with definite dates for accomplishment. In relation to vision, goals
are milestones that indicate whether your vision will become a reality.

Vision answers the question: What do I want to be?


Whereas goals answer the questions: How do I become what I want to be?

In relation to your business, what is it that you want to accomplish during your lifetime, and how
will you do it? Isn’t it that you want to achieve a level of financial independence that your dreams
can come true?

Your financial future in this business will be determined by what you do (or don’t) over the next
few months.

Ask yourself this vital question:

What specific written goals have you established for your QuestNet business?

Goal setting is the single most important positive action of your life. Focus your goals on what
you want your organization look like one month from now, then six months from now, then one
year from now, then three years from now.

Why not come up with a Master Plan for your own organization within the QuestNet business and
spells out what you want to achieve from this business 25 years from now.

Yes! Design your life for maximum achievement around a long-range goal.

Many people have never hit a target in their lives simply because they do not know where their

(S) Specific Goals:

Don’t just say you will earn lots of money doing the QuestNet business. How much do you intend
to earn, and by when?

Don’t just say you want a large organization. How many TCOs do you want in your group, and by
when?

Don’t just say you want a new car. What type of car? What model?

(M) Measurable Goals:

You must have an organization you can gauge your progress toward your goal. This is done by
establishing a schedule for your goals. At any specific time, you must be able to tell whether or
not you are on target, whether you have achieved what you set out to do. This way, you can
adjust your actions accordingly.

(A) Attainable Goals:

Make your objective realistic. Your target must be high enough that it will inspire you, but not so
high that you will never attain it. Goals should keep us working toward them enthusiastically. It
would make no sense to set a goal that you know is impossible to achieve.

On the other hand, your goal must not be too easy either.

(R) Readable Goals:

Write them down! Your written goals will create within you a burning inspiration. They will
motivate within you a greater utilization of your talents and abilities. Your written goals are the
road maps that will guide you towards attaining your objectives in life. Writing crystallizes
thoughts!

(T) Time-framed Goals:

Goals are dream with deadlines. You need to put a specific date on each one for when you
intend on reaching them.

The simple act of deciding exactly when you will achieve certain targets sets into motion powerful
forces that make your goal a REALITY!
