9am - 5pmThe day will be a smorgasbord of historical depth,engaged thinking and contemporary examples of innovative and challenging educational practice. It willinclude:· Historical context from key people involved in “theDeakin Workshops,” which initiated the role of mental health consumers in clinical education inAustralia· Insight, discussion and inspiring examples of what ishappening today;· A wide spectrum of contexts in which consumersare educating others; and· Discussion of where the opportunities andchallenges might lie.All led by consumers!Plus there will be plenty of opportunities to network,brag, borrow and steal ideas, natter with likemindedpeople and debate contentious issues.
