magink's revolutionary digital ink technology arranges molecules in the spring-like shape of a spiral helix. The molecular
density and angle are electrically manipulated to create visible colors of the spectrum, including all gray levels.
In Clear state, the molecules are organized vertically. Light travels straight through the molecules to create the color black, as
the viewer sees the black absorber of the back panel.
In Colored state, the molecules are organized horizontally. Light is reflected by the molecules, and creates primary,
secondary, or white color, depending on the selected parameters.
In Gray Level state, the molecules are organized at various angles. Up to 64 gray levels can be produced.
In total, with Digital Ink, about 250,000 (218) colors can be seen within the wide color range.

Unparalleled Optical Experience
magink Digital Ink technology breaks through the limits of traditional outdoor signage. Ordinary LED can only display about
three quarters of the colors that Digital Ink can. Digital Ink's color range, together with its high contrast, provides superb visible
image quality under a wide range of lighting conditions. Digital Ink doesn't distract – it enhances.
Reflective Technology
magink digital ink is reflective. Like paper, magink’s digital Billboards are more visually compelling than ordinary electronic
Billboards, which compete with natural sunlight rather than working with it. With Digital Ink, light is not absorbed, it is reflected.
Additionally, light cannot degrade Digital Ink's materials. Ultraviolet (UV) light is largely filtered, prolonging display life.
Low Electricity Consumption
Once a Digital Ink image is displayed on a magink billboard, it is sustained by the initial power until it is changed or updated.
magink Digital Ink requires substantially less power than light emitting diode (LED) displays.
Environmentally Friendly
magink Digital Ink is made of patented organic materials, so it saves paper and energy. Colors are displayed by reflecting
visible light to produce a natural look and feel, like a picture printed on paper. magink Digital Ink works with the sun, not against
it, so displays are unobtrusive, and comply with display regulations.
