GIVING PRICES
To give a price you can use: How much does the shirt cost? It costs four dollars and fifty-nine cents. How much is this shirt? It is four dollars and fifty-nine cents.

GIVING PRICES
To give a price you can use: How much do the shoes cost? They cost fifty dollars and forty-six cents. How much are these shoes? They are fifty dollars and forty-six cents.
