EachSunday in November, we will highlight one aspect of the OPC’sministry that is served by this offering. Nursery Workers & SS Helpers Much Needed!
Presently,Cedar Church is quite short-handed for female nursery volunteersduring morning worship, Sunday School & evening worship.Some of our volunteers are serving twice a month or more, due toour shortage. Additionally, we need several Sunday School“helpers” to assist us with our growing children’s Sunday Schoolprogram. Holiday Parade Outreach –
The Hudsonville Holiday Paradewill be held on Saturday, November 19

Linens of Love Project
- While the Senior High Youth Group wasdown at Navajo Ministries in New Mexico, it came to our attentionthat the on-site foster homes are in need of new bedding for thechildren. The Senior High Youth group is collecting new twin sizebedding sets (comforter & sheets). These will be taken downto Navajo Ministries children's homes in January. If you'd prefer tomake a monetary donation that would be fine as well. All beddingand donations need to be at church by December 31

Care Packages for College Students
- Once again it is that timeof year to let our college students know we are thinking aboutthem. The Girls Club will be packing boxes for our 11 collegestudents (5 girls, 6 guys) on November 2. There is a box in thehallway in which to place your contributions towards thesepackages. Any questions see Pam Himebook or Carin Hartwell.
Please Reserve Last Two Rows of Chairs –
Cedar session wouldrequest that the congregation reserve the final two rows of chairsin the gymnasium for visitors, late comers and families with smallchildren. We hope this helps us serve the needs of our growingchurch family.
School Building Reminders
– Cold weather will soon confine usindoors. Let’s remember to be good stewards and thoughtfultenants of the building. Here are a few reminders:1.
 
For safety and security reasons, kids should not run,horseplay or wander in the back hallways, or run andhorseplay in the front hallways after services.2.
 
Please respect all school property in the hallway and inclassrooms. When in doubt, ask yourself, “Would a schoolteacher allow a student to do this during a normal schoolday?”
Lakeshore Pregnancy Centers
will be offering new volunteerclient advocate training sessions starting November 1, and wouldlove to invite you to get involved. Each client advocate is trainedand prepared to minister one-on-one to women at LakeshorePregnancy Center.
