HALLOWEEN PARTY
- C CO is hosting a halloween party on 29 October. They have extended aninvitation out to the entire Trailblazer battalion. All ages are invited. They will have a DJ withmusic (family friendly), food, activities, and much more. The party is at the Family ResourceCenter on Lewis Main located on the corner of 9
th
division and Idaho Ave. The party begins at7pm.

SAVE THE DATE! PREHOLIDAY CARE PACKAGE/SANTA PHOTO EVENT-
The organization,Northwest Military, that put on the Children
s Event on October 16 in Lacey would like to inviteour families to an event in November. The event is on
 
November 12th from 10am to Noon atFreighthouse Square in the Foss Hall (which is on the lower level). Santa will be there for picturesthat the families can include in their care packages to be sent over (on a digital disk). We arehoping to have other entertainment there for the kids too. More information will be in nextweek
s newsletter.

- The Next FRG meeting will be 15 November at the Family Resource Center at 5:30pm.They will be having a combined holiday party (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) on December4 at the Family Resource Center from 2 to 6 pm. More details will be coming out regarding theHoliday Party.

Next FRG meeting will be 7 November at 1800 at the Family Resource Center.
HSC
- FRG Meetings will be the first Wed of every month at 5pm (except December) at the FamilyResource Center. Their holiday party will be 17 December from 6-10 at the Family ResourceCenter.

LIGGETT AVE ON JBLM MAIN CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION
- Public Works has shut down LiggettAvenue between Division and 12th Streets for 45 days of construction. The closure includes theintersection of Liggett and Division, but 12th Street and the intersection at Liggett and 12th willremain open. Parking areas along that length of Liggett Avenue will be blocked. Most of theparking areas have access from other directions, but parking will be blocked completely in frontof and west of McVeigh Sports and Fitness Center and across the street from I CorpsHeadquarters, Building 2025. Parking for McVeigh will be in the rear and on the north side of Liggett, which can be accessed from Pendleton. While Liggett is under construction, thecontractor is required to provide access from the parking area north of Liggett to McVeigh at, ornear the location of the current McVeigh crosswalk2.
