In the Midst of the Storm, We Ride!
As the lightning flashed outside my window, I could feel the immediate wave of boomingthunder that told me the lightning struck nearby. The energy around me began to build and so Iclosed my eyes and grounded myself by imagining a cord extending through my body andextending into the core of the earth. When I felt grounded, I imagined the same cord extendingupward out of my body and out into space. My Spirit began to rise and I could see the stormclouds all around me with lightning flashing all around me, deafening rolling thunder sentpowerful vibrations throughout my being. I stayed floating among the clouds and could sensemyself becoming almost intoxicated with the force of the storm, but realized that I had to moveon.I could feel wings spread out from my shoulder blades and extend out and up above my head. Asthe wings began to flap, I slowly rose and gave thanks to the storm for allowing me to share its
energy. I invited the elements to join me as I rose above the earth. “Great spirits of Fire Air
,Water and Earth, join me if you will and help me to spread Love, Joy and Peace with Healing
Energy around the planet to all who are open and willing to receive it.” I could feel the energy
around me increasing and as I continued to rise, I saw a stream of energy extend from me all theway back down to the earth.I came to a stop and hovered in space at a point where the Earth looked like it could fit in thepalm of my hand. Off in the distance and circling all around the planet I saw many points of multi colored lights, with energy streams of the same colors reaching down to the earth. As theearth rotated, I could the see multicolored streams of light energy begin to wrap around andweave themselves together like a beautiful web or tapestry. All of a sudden I felt a surge of themost beautiful, peaceful and loving energy coming in through my crown chakra and pulsingthrough my being, down the stream of energy and joining with the other streams that made upthe blanket of energy that now completely surrounded the earth.I watched as the earth pulsated with such vivid and bright colors that I have never seen before orcould have imagined. The beauty and radiance that shown off of Gaia was too glorious todescribe and the peace and love that I felt brought tears streaming from my eyes. The Energycontinued to flow through me and as it did, I began to feel like I was one with the Energy and Isoon began to sense the multitude of beings that had joined me and we were all One. I began toslowly drift higher and just before I began to lose sight of the earth, I felt a tug on my being fromsomewhere below. I looked up and began to focus on the feeling of Oneness with the Universe
and a voice from the distance softly spoke to me saying; “Don’t fear the storm, learn t
o ride it
and enjoy the journey!”
My eyes opened and I was back in front of my computer, staring at my nature screen-saver. I feltlight as a feather and was extremely grateful for this fantastic experience. I began to wonder whoelse had this same experience, I know there were others from earth that were there andexperienced what I did. I felt their presence as I had become One with them and with the otherbeings and with the Universe, sending energy to Gaia. The Universe blessed us this night and theblessings will continue to grow as we further explore the Oneness that we are.
