All Souls Day Copyright 2011, Paul Hawkins

We see our lives' brief tapestries unfurled and sewn with laughter, tragedy and tears and feel the minutes pass too soon to years, and think upon our sleeping ones to learn that dust we are and dust we shall return; but writ on time, more permanent than stone, the lives God gives to make our own or give away, and doing so lend grace to other pilgrims in this place. Secure all souls committed to this earth to sleep until their second birth.
