Amerikaanse zangeres/tekstschrijver Lizanne Hennessey en Nederlandse musicus/producer Roland Stolk - a.k.a This is lizzard - brengen begin december een tweede album uit, 'The Orcas Sessions'. Deze unplugged EP met zes tracks is opgenomen op Orcas Eiland in de Verenigde Staten, in samenwerking met het derde lid van de band, Amerikaanse zanger/gitarist/bassist Gene Nery. Na dertien jaar te hebben gewerkt aan hun goed ontvangen debuut album, 'Won't Give Up', besloot het independent duo om niet te lang te wachten met een tweede CD. 'The Orcas Sessions' bevat o.a. een originele Christmas song en een intieme live uitvoering van Tom Petty's 'Free Falling'. Het alternatieve-pop/rock album 'Won't Give Up' met tien diverse originele tracks werd op 8 april 2011 uitgebracht in de staat Washington van de Verenigde Staten, de home away from home van Lizanne en Roland. Inmiddels wordt het album op lokale/nationale radio stations en podcasts in de VS gedraaid en begint ook de aandacht van de Europese media te krijgen. This is lizzard is ook genomineerd voor drie Amerikaanse Independent Music Awards, o.a. de 2011 Hollywood Music in Media Award. Het man-vrouw team maken sinds 1998 samen muziek. Lizanne Hennessey schrijft en zingt alle teksten in het Engels, haar moedertaal. Prijs-winnende multi-instrumentalist Roland Stolk schrijft alle muziek en is tevens de producer van beide albums. 'The Orcas Sessions' wordt in december 2011 onder het Australische label Blue Pie Records uitgebracht.
