1. The bylaws of Dorchester Shrine Club are hereby suspended until further notice by order of the
Potentate (Article- 37, 337.2) "All nobles who are members of a Shrine Club are amenable_to the
bylaws and regulations of the authorizing Temple, whether they are members of that Temple or another
Temple." (337.3) "The Shrine Club-is under the control of the Potentate of the authorizing Temple and
he must approve any bylaws or amendments thereto adopted by the Club before they -'Can -become
~ffective." (337.3) (1978 Proceedings) "The Potentate has control of the, Shrine Clu,bs ofhis Temple
;and .he may request changes in. their bylaws even though such bylaws were -.approved by his
!predecessors in office." -

2. As of this date of August 17, 2006; ALL officers, Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and
Appointees are remQvedfrom office. (Article 37, 337.9) "The Potentate shall have the power to
remove from office in the corporation or association any Trustee or maruigingofficer for disobedience
of his orders or for any violation of Temple bylaws with respect to the CONDUCT of the affairs of the
corporation or association." -

3. All funds including checkbooks, cash advancesto Club committee chairmen and cash on hand will be
collected imd turned over to the Temple Treasurer. IMEDIATELY .

4. The Potentate shall appoint a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, an advisory Board, Food
chairman, Oasis chairman, Campground chairman, club rental and dances chairman, building and
grounds and equipment chairman, 2 Wardens in· charge of security. Length of time of these
appointments will be at the discretion of the sitting Potentate for at least 2 years, depending on their
-ability to conduct the proper and legal affairs of the Club. , '

5. All recreational vehicles, travel trailers or motorized homes licensed for travel on highways shall be
removed from ALL caqlpsites at Dorchester Shrine club by September 20, 2006. (See state law and
Dorchester County law prohibiting permanent occupancy for human habitation.) After an extensive
cleanup of campsites and DHEC approval, the campground will be reopened for camping by
applications only approved by the campground 'chairman and the Club President with the advice and
counsel of the advisory board. A campsite can only be utilized for 7 days in· a row or for 15 days
maximum in a month
NO EXCEPTIONS! Camping rates will be $20.00 per day which will include electrical power,
water and sewage disposal. Approved I year reserved campsites will· be available under the same
restrictions of7 days in a row or 15 days maximum for habitation for $1200.00 plus $50.00 per month
for electricity.

6. Nobles, we are distressed that the morals of some have caused.these orders. However, you have been
forewamedover and over about the breeding ground of drugs, excessive drinking, fights, and the
language that has caused 200 members to quit coming and paying dues because they will not subject
their wives to the cursing that occurs every night. Club officers have totally disregarded Shrine Law,
Club bylaws and common business practices. Club officers have totally disregarded the Potentates
directives. The Club has repeatedly given ILLEAGAL donations to other charities in accordance with
Shrine law and charitable fundraising. The Temple has received letter after letter and phone call after
phone call complaining of the immoral conduct that exists. TillS WILL STOP OR ELSE OTHER
MEASURES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED. (Article 37,337.3) ~ (1986 Proceedings) "The
Potentate having control over a Shrine Club may, dUringhis term in office, terminate its existence, and
he may authorize the formation of a new Shrine Club."
