PLAYER PERSONNEL POLICY General - Off Field You are.to make yourself responsible in maintaining a 1.4 grade point average your freshman year; 1.6 sophomore; 1.8 junior; 2.0 Zenior, and pass 24 semester hours per year. See your coach {nmediately if you have any indication that you may be approaching substandard performance. You must carry at least 12 hours per semester in order to be eligible for competition and remain on scholarship. Each term you are required to place on record with your position coach your class schedule for the semester. No drobs without permission from Coach Kidd or the Academic Counselor. Be in your room by 10:30 p.m, - lights out 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights during the season. No one is to get married without discussing it first with Coach Kidd. conduct yourselves as gentlemen at all times. Act like a gentleman and you will be treated like a gentleman; act like a bum and you will be treated like a bum. If you have a problem, see your coach NOW! Your books are on a loan basis and must be turned in at the end of the semester. Do not turn in stolen books to the Bookstore because you lost the books issued to you by your scholarship -see a coach if you have this problem. Do not get or attempt to get books, supplies, etc., for a friend, girlfriend, or a wife on your scholarship. No one is to use your meal card except you, If you do it is subject to be confiscated by the Food Service personnel. If you lose your meal card, you will not be able to eat until you get’a new one. Food service will charge you $10.00 to replace it. This fee is your responsibility. If your scholarship does not cover meals, you are not to attempt to get a meal by posing as someone else. Be extra cautious in taking care of personal possessions (books, clothes, TV, stereos, money, etc.) prior to Christmas and spring vacation and before the end’of each semester. It could result in suspension for one semester if you are caught in a girl’s room or a girl is caught in your room during un-authorized hours. This is a school policy and will be adhered to. T£ you are caught with any type of alcoholic beverage in your room, it will result in suspension or disciplinary action by the coaching staff. If your scholarship includes meals, you are to eat breakfast no later than 8:00 a.m. each day during the season. No one is to get an apartment without discussing it first with Coach Kidd.
