The Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS) is a comprehensive statewide program designed to provideinformation about what students know in core academic areas and whether they can apply what they know.The Fall 2011 Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examination (WKCE) is customized to measure theWisconsin Model Academic Standards (WMAS) and is developed and designed by Wisconsin educators inconjunction with CTB/McGraw-Hill. For students in grade 3, the test includes multiple-choice and short-answeritems in Reading and Mathematics.
TEST SECURITYThe WKCE test books must be kept secure. Students must not be exposed to test content before the actualtesting. If students have prior knowledge of test content, results of testing can give a deceptive picture.Please assume responsibility for maintaining strict security of these documents.
