What is it? The NYSE Euronext Global Index Feed (GIF) is the primary source for all U.S. data generated and published by the NYSE Global Index Group. Who is it for? Users requiring access to NYSEs index and exchange traded product (ETP) valuations data. What does it provide? GIF is the primary source of NYSE, NYSE Arca, NYSE Amex, as well as third party index data and ETP valuations data.

The NYSE Euronext Global Index Feed (GIF) is the primary source of U.S. real-time index and exchange traded product (ETP) valuations data from NYSE Euronext. GIF has been created to support advanced trading methodologies and high frequency dissemination.
For users, GIF is faster, simpler, easy to manage and consistent with NYSE Technologies data feeds, thereby lowering administrative costs. GIF provides access to: NYSE, NYSE Arca, NYSE Amex, as well as third party index data and ETP valuations data.

GIF is delivered via the XDP Market Data Feed NYSE Technologies high speed, real-time, multicast IP data feed, which provides ultra low latency publishing. XDP is available over the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) Contact your Market Data Licensing Manager to gain access to the GIF Service.

Message Format
GIF has a common message structure for both dissemination frequencies: Real-time interval data, and real-time tick by tick data. Real-time interval data is supported with a refresh message each time a data update is provided. Retransmission and refresh will soon be available for real-time tick by tick data.
