ANNOUNCEMENTSA ‘Thank You’ from Grace OPC
- On Saturday, October 22
nd
, 15men from churches in our presbytery came to Lansing, Michigan, tohelp members of Grace OPC with work needed to be done at thechurch property. Men with masonry skills removed an unused windowair conditioner and sealed shut the resulting hole. Others trimmed treesand removed dead branches. The weeping willow tree behind thechurch building received a very noticeable hair cut. The sidewalkswere edged. But the biggest task completed was scrapping pealed paintfrom the exterior walls made of cement blocks, filling holes andapplying a fresh coat of paint to these walls. The work was completedby mid afternoon. Special thanks goes to Pastor Dave Vander Meer of our Rockford Springs church who brought 11 men with him using theSpencer Mills van. They also sent a generous check for the expenses of our Lansing church property. The members of Grace OPC thank themen of our presbytery for their help. It brings encouragement to ourcongregation. -- Respectfully Submitted, Tony Blair
