OK-SAFE, Inc, - Health Care reform is really about the IT (information technology) infrastructure that feeds the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN), and one that allows for the seamless flow of information to the federal government and beyond. DHS (Dept. of Homeland Security) is dismantling The Privacy Act of 1974 to accomplish 'total information awareness' about every single person in the U.S.- without having to disclose the amount and type of information being collected on people. This information includes our medical records, now being converted to EHR format (electronic health record). This is in concert with a global initiative that will result in private medical information being shared globally.
