Cut two 2"x1" zipper pieces from light geometric. 3. Using the gusset template, cut one gusset from each dark geometric and floral print. 4. Using pocket lining template, cut pocket lining from dark geometric. Fold pocket lining template pattern along the line for the pocket front and cut one from the floral print. 5. 9. Baste the pocket and the batting together 1/4" from the edges. Pin the pocket lining to the pocket along the straight edge and stitch 3/8" from the edge. Fold the lining to the wrong side of the pocket over the top of the lining. Stitch along the lower edge of the lining on the right side of the pocket. Baste the lower edges together.

12. Zigzag stitch along the straight edge of the wristlet sides. Turn under the 3/8" seam allowance on these edges and pin them to either side of the zipper. Topstitch the folded edge of the sides to the zipper, beginning and ending 3/8" from the side edges.

10. Baste the pocket to one wristlet side along the side and lower edge using a 1/4" seam allowance. Stitch along the center of the pocket. 13. Place the batting between the gusset and the gusset lining. Baste the layers together 1/4" from the edges. Pin the gusset to one wristlet side, clipping the seam allowance of the gusset along the curved corners of the sides. Stitch the seam to the seam line of the side without catching the zipper pieces in the seam. Stitch the remaining long edge of the gusset to the other side in the same manner.

11. Fold the zipper pieces in half so they are 1"x1". Zigzag stitch along the raw edges. Place one with folded edge down at the top of zipper just above the zipper stops. Stitch along the fold. Place the other one across the zipper 6" below the first. Stitch along the fold. Trim bottom of zipper 1/2" below the stitching.

14. Pin or fuse the interfacing to the center of the wrong side of the wrist strap. Press the sides of the wrist strap over the edge of the interfacing. Fold the strap piece in half lengthwise and stitch along the side edges.

15. Fold the strap in half, matching the ends, and insert the strap between the top zipper piece and the gusset so the ends are even.

16. From the wrong side, stitch the strap in place. Open the zipper. Stitch the remaining zipper piece to the other end of the gusset in the same manner but without the strap.
