- Competition Roadmap 2 Topics 1 Topic to be selected by each team Executive Summary by panel Finalists Final Presentation The Winner Review

Topic 1 NextGen Tools, Techniques and Technologies in Sales & Marketing

Context:
Currently the ITES sales process has the following defining characteristics: Long sales cycle Primary sales based on Capability decks and Case studies Works best with client visits of the shop floor

Challenge:
Identify the Next generation tools and techniques which can be used to enable the Sales and Marketing process within the context of ITES.

Topic 2: Building Multi-Lingual Capabilities

Context:
Given the global nature of todays ITES businesses, providers are finding it increasingly intricate to deliver services which require multi-lingual capabilities across geographies. These capabilities need to be developed for two reasons:> To service clients in emerging non-English speaking geographies > To service clients with customers in non-English speaking geographies Some of the strategies currently used are: > Create delivery centers in countries for delivery (for example a Delivery center in China for Cantonese and Mandarin) > Identify resources within your base locations who can be given a working knowledge of the language required > Identify alternate countries which can provide the same language capabilities with Labor arbitrage

Challenge:
Create a composite strategy roadmap to address the above issue for an ITES company with headquarter in India. While you can use the current strategies as a base, Identification of newer strategies will be scored higher. The components expected in the strategic roadmap are: > Countries identified for delivery > Per Employee Cost estimates ( in case of training language talent in India) > HR Challenges > Business challenges in the identified countries (PEST and SWOT) > Training requirements Languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Italian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai
