Who is the target audience ?

DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILING
Gender Female Race - Western Age - 16 - 25 Socio-economic status - C2-E (Skilled non-manual, skilled manual, unskilled manual and unemployed/students)
Demographic profiling sorts people into different social groups based on key criteria they may share. This is good for the music industry as it makes different genres of music for the different social groups making it easier to work out who the audience is which the producers are targeting. This is our target audience as it will be aimed at party-goers, in the 16-25 age range who will have disposable income, the gender we are targeting is female this is because the song a music video will be portraying the messages of female dominance, female independence and girl power.

PSCHOGRAPHIC PROFILING
Psychographic profiling is based on four different audience types, these are: (Young and Rubicams cross cultural characteristics) Mainstreamers Reformers Aspirers Individuals The music for our music video is aimed at mainstreamers whereas the video will be aimed at mainstreamers and individuals to widen the target audience.

SECONDARY AUDIENCE

Our secondary audience would be: Gender Male Race - Western Age - 16 - 25 Socio-economic status - C2-E (Skilled non-manual, skilled manual, unskilled manual and unemployed/students)
We will make this our secondary audience by using The male gaze, attracting men by objectifying women.
