A Composition for Two Performers and a Participatory Audience. Performer 1 is in charge of arranging for the acquisition of Performer 2 and for explaining the terms of Participation to the Audience. Performer 1 is determined well in advance of the Performance date/time. Performer 2 is sought out among the Audience by Performer 1. When Performer 2 arrives at the Performance Site, she/he believes that she/he is merely an Audience Member. Performer 1 arrives at the Performance Site well in advance of the Performance time, and once some of the Audience has arrived Performer 1 asks an Audience Member to be Performer 2, explaining the terms (below). If the first inquiry fails, Performer 1 continues requisitioning until an Audience Member agrees to assume the role of Performer 2. Performer 2 is given the choice of whether to read page 2 ("...the are right. one doing woman, your Ninety") or page 3 ("(Kung realized pleasure be but the investigation specific"). Performer 1 plans to read whichever page Performer 2 refuses. When the specific Performance time arrives, Performer 1 (holding the page Performer 2 refused) and Performer 2 (holding the page she/he chose) go to the Performance stage/area/etc. Once all is silent and the Audience is attentive, Performer 1 explains to the Audience the role they are encouraged to play. Audience Members are asked to make a feminine sound during the Performance when they hear something that they like, as often as they like. Once the Audience understands the recommendations (questions are encouraged), the Performance begins. Performer 1 and Performer 2 begin reading their personal pages (as outlined above) simultaneously, and continue to read simultaneously throughout the duration of the Performance. The Audience may participate as outlined above (though other forms of participation would not be condemned) whenever they like. If one of the Performers finishes reading her/his page before the other Performer, she/he will slap her/his own forehead and then continue reading at the top of her/his page. Once the other Performer has finished reading her/his page, she/he will slap her/his own forehead, and the Performance will end.
