i thought it was very informative and realistic even though i do think " some" training that has techniques can be helpful if practiced right and the element of real fighting is really understood by the person training-- like in boxing or mma -- when you train certain ways it pays off - but for someone just training in a "traditional" martial arts with no realistic concept of fighting is going to get killed in a real fight trying to use what they see on tv or unrealistic "show moves " they practice in the dojo. .but overall i thougth the book was good.
