Teaching Adolescents Paper

This paper will include information presented during the course focusing on course standards. Specifically, the paper should include: how to provide opportunities that support adolescent student development and learning, a description of developmentally responsive middle level programs (community) and schools, a plan for working collaboratively with family and community members in an effort to use that knowledge to maximize the learning of all young adolescents, and an understanding of the complexity of teaching young adolescents including a description of how you will engage in practices and behaviors that develop your competence as a professional. References should include the assigned course textbook, at least one other research book or research-based website, and at least two research articles (peer-reviewed). (Minimum of four sources required.) The paper is due before Tuesday, June 28th at 9:00 a.m. Electronic versions are not accepted. Please do not use a binder or folder; simply staple the paper. Research papers should be double-spaced, follow APA format, and be at least 5 pages in length, not including cover page and reference page (maximum 10 pages).
