A ‘Thank You’ from Grace OPC
- On Saturday, October 22
nd
, 15men from churches in our presbytery came to Lansing, Michigan, tohelp members of Grace OPC with work needed to be done at thechurch property. Men with masonry skills removed an unusedwindow air conditioner and sealed shut the resulting hole. Otherstrimmed trees and removed dead branches. The weeping willow treebehind the church building received a very noticeable hair cut. Thesidewalks were edged. But the biggest task completed was scrappingpealed paint from the exterior walls made of cement blocks, fillingholes and applying a fresh coat of paint to these walls. The work wascompleted by mid afternoon. Special thanks goes to Pastor DaveVander Meer of our Rockford Springs church who brought 11 menwith him using the Spencer Mills van. They also sent a generouscheck for the expenses of our Lansing church property. The membersof Grace OPC thank the men of our presbytery for their help. Itbrings encouragement to our congregation. -- RespectfullySubmitted, Tony Blair

What can you do?

Invite Your Friends
– Would you consider inviting someone whodoesn’t go to church to join you on Sunday, December 11

formorning worship and our Christmas Luncheon at 11 AM? Aneighbor with no family nearby, an unchurched coworker, or a longtime friend are all more likely to say “yes” to a church invitation atChristmas. 1 out of 4 people report saying “yes” to a personalinvitation to church the first time they are asked! Would you committo invite at least
three
un-churched friends and/or family members?1. _____________ 2. _____________ 3. _____________

– If you are hesitant to invite people you know to church, youcan begin by taking the less-intimidating step of praying for yourfriends (listed above) and the church during our Christmas outreach.Would you commit to pray daily?
