Abstract:
Crowdsourcing has become a widely applied practice in the contextof innovation and problem solving. The paper provides first an overvierw of thestste-of-the-art in crowdsourcing in terms of definitions used, applicationareas, players involved as well as processes and tools. Than potential future forms of crowdsourcing are discussed. Finally, based on the results of the firsttwo parts future research questions are extracted.
